Chapter 7: Tips for use 63

• All tables will be loaded into the Bridgemate II server and the Bridgemate Pro server. You
decide which tables are used by the Pro system, and which by the II system. As a
consequence, both systems may show that certain tables are not activated yet within their
server, as they are logged into the other server.

• Make sure that both Bridgemate Pro and Bridgemate II have their own tables, for example
section A uses Bridgemate II, and section B uses Bridgemate Pro.

• Scores are exchanged between the two systems. Scores entered in Bridgemate Pro will also
appear on the Bridgemate II scoring devices, and vice versa.

• A movement update will first be carried out by Bridgemate II, and a few seconds later by
Bridgemate Pro. This is done automatically.

• If you accidently close the second instance of BCS, you can start it again by using the same
menu Session à Start Bridgemate Pro concurrently. It will remember that it has already been
started before, and will not start from round 1 but instead continues from where it left at the
     moment you closed the program.

• Bridgemate II has more settings than Bridgemate Pro. Bridgemate Pro will only use those
settings that are for Bridgemate Pro only. For example, the names appearing on Bridgemate II
will not appear on Bridgemate Pro.
